Client Projects

I work with visual artists to build thoughtful digital platforms that highlight craft, process, and creative voice. I help my clients translate creative work into compelling visual storytelling that connects with both industry peers and broader audiences.

About Me

Political Campaign • County Commissioner

Daryl Flowers came to me to build a complete campaign brand from the ground up. He wanted a look that felt as genuine and rooted as the candidate himself. Drawing on my background in brand strategy, copywriting, and visual direction, I developed everything from the visual identity and print collateral to the website, social media presence, and a comprehensive management guide so Daryl could run it all independently. The goal was a campaign that spoke to neighbors the way a neighbor would — professional without being political, and personal without being small.

Building a political brand from scratch means every decision carries weight. The blue and purple palette was chosen deliberately — blue for authority and trust, purple to add warmth and distinction with a nod to bipartisanship and unity. The yard sign had to stand out from every other sign lining the roadsides. The business card had to carry exactly the right information for every hand it lands in. The courthouse portrait session was chosen not just for its beauty, but because that limestone building is a symbol of pride to the residents of Hardin County.

Digital & Web • Website, Social Media, Email newsletter

Digital & Web • Website, Social Media, Email newsletter

A candidate's website is their handshake. For Daryl, I built a complete CMS website structured to move visitors naturally from curiosity to connection to action — with a persistent donation footer, multiple contact inquiry types, and an events calendar keeping the community engaged. Social media was built to match: a five-pillar content framework, custom assets, and a Linktree designed to funnel supporters exactly where they needed to go. To keep constituents informed between campaign moments, I also developed two branded email newsletter templates, along with a bi-monthly sending schedule and content direction for each.

Writing & Messaging • Copywriting, Client Education & Handoff

Writing & Messaging • Copywriting, Client Education & Handoff

Every word written for this campaign had to sound like Daryl — a retired ironworker, a neighbor, and a man who continues to show up for his community. The messaging was centered on what matters at the local level, approachable and grounded, deliberately distanced from partisan political jargon. From the hero line to the three-chapter About page to the Facebook welcome post, the copy was built to earn trust with people who can spot inauthenticity from a mile away.

Awards Season Campaign • Best Cinematography

I worked with Nicole Hirsch Whitaker, ASC to develop social media content that highlighted the visual storytelling and industry recognition surrounding her incredible work on Dust Bunny. Drawing on my knowledge of the film industry and its audience, I created posts that translated technical craft and creative process into engaging, visually driven content. The campaign combined editorial storytelling, press highlights, and awards-season imagery to connect with both cinematography professionals and film enthusiasts.

Storytelling • Color Profile Post

Storytelling • Color Profile Post Storytelling • Color Profile Post

Drawing on my background in the film industry, I developed a color profile storytelling concept that highlighted the visual language of the project. From concept to execution, I designed the post to break down how color palettes and grading choices contribute to cinematic storytelling. The goal was to create content that resonated with filmmakers and cinematographers by blending technical insight with visual inspiration — a format that encourages deeper engagement from an audience interested in the craft of filmmaking.

Image Series • For Your Consideration

For this campaign, I created a series of For Your Consideration (FYC) visuals designed to align with the film industry’s awards-season marketing language. The goal was to highlight Nicole’s work in a way that felt authentic to the cinematography community while maintaining a polished, editorial aesthetic. By combining carefully selected stills with clean typography and strong visual hierarchy, the images functioned both as promotional assets and as a way to position the project within the broader awards conversation.

Press Support • Magazine Round-Up

To extend the campaign’s reach, I curated a magazine round-up featuring press coverage and editorial mentions related to the project. Presenting these publications together created a clear narrative of industry recognition while reinforcing Nicole’s growing presence within the cinematography community. The post served as both a credibility signal and a way to celebrate the project’s momentum across film publications and media outlets.

Awards Season Campaign • Best Costume Design

For Academy Award–winning costume designer Deborah L. Scott, I developed a social media campaign designed to showcase the artistry and narrative depth behind her costume work for Avatar: FIre & Ash. The content highlighted character-driven design, industry recognition, and awards-season visibility through thoughtful storytelling and curated visuals. By connecting costume details to the film’s broader narrative world, the posts helped audiences better understand the craftsmanship behind the designs.

For this series of posts, I developed storytelling-driven captions that explored how character development influenced the costume design. Drawing from Deborah’s creative process and the narrative world of the film, the writing connected visual details in the costumes to the personalities, journeys, and thematic elements of the characters. This approach allowed audiences to appreciate the craftsmanship behind the designs while also deepening their understanding of how costume supports cinematic storytelling.

To highlight industry recognition surrounding the project, I created a magazine round-up featuring editorial coverage and press mentions across film publications. By presenting these features together, the post reinforced Deborah’s visibility within the industry while creating a clear snapshot of the film’s growing media presence. The format helped celebrate the project’s momentum while directing audiences toward the broader conversation happening in film journalism.
